<aside> ✳️ More and more people are concerned with the environmental impact of the services and products they buy. When writing about the sustainability of a project it’s important to make sure your claims are accurate, transparent and backed up by evidence.

We’ve adapted this checklist from the UK’s Green Claims Code from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) – which sets out 6 parameters as starting points to check your environmental claims are genuinely green. The checklist is a tool for you and your clients to make sure your claims are aligned with the UK’s best business practice.

How to use the checklist:

List items are written on cards, clicking on a card opens up a page with details and a space for you to manage your progress. Cards start off in incomplete and can be moved over to in progress as you begin to consider how to implement these into your business or service. You can assign cards to members of your team who are part of this workspace by clicking on the card and the ‘assign’ field. Once you’ve completed the compliance for an item, drag it over to complete.

➕ You can copy this board for your client projects to support them in implementing Green Claims in their own business.
